Green Canyon Trip
Sometimes you want to get away from the crowd, and be in the middle of mother nature, hear the sound of the green world; spend a whole day in the green paradise. The best option for this is the 3 hours cruise through the turquoise waters of the famous Green Canyon on a comfortable yacht.
The excursion starts in the morning when our comfortable air-conditioned bus picks you up from your hotel and drives towards the Taurus Mountains through beautiful scenery. Our professional guide talks about the tour ahead. The first stop will be at a point with the best views of the Oymapınar Dam. This dam is the fifth largest in Turkey and it is capable to meet the needs of electricity and water supply of the region.
In addition, a 2000 years old iconic structure from the Roman period is seen on the way called Aquaduct; built to bring water supply from the Green Lake to Side in ancient times.
And then three hours boat trip and swimming are scheduled ahead and during your cruise along the 14 km long canyon, you will be amazed by the beauty of the surroundings. The water is sparkling green and the forest all around green, every spot, every view is a breath-taking photo. After two hours on the boat, a swimming break is given. Get the chance to revitalize yourself and your senses by swimming in the emerald waters of the lake and witnessing the wonderful settings.
The boat continues towards the next stop for a lunch break. At a lake-side restaurant; the menu consists of barbequed chicken, meatballs or fish, pasta salad, and fruit. From the restaurant, you will enjoy spectacular views over the lake. after lunch you can try fishing or canoeing, the restaurant offers instruments for them, or just relax and admire the lake and surroundings. Following the long break, the boat will sail again to the pier where it started. Once you reach the pier the vehicles waiting for you to drive back to your hotel with fantastic memories you will always remember.
