We leave the asphalt behind and begin our thrilling off-road climb into the Taurus Mountains.

WATER FIGHT!

I've heard the lunch is at Dimçay River. What is that experience actually like?

The lunch at Dimçay River is an experience in itself, and often a highlight of the day for our guests! Imagine relaxing at shaded pavilions built directly over the crystal-clear, cool river flowing down from the mountains. You can even dangle your feet in the refreshing water while you eat. You’ll be served a delicious meal, usually grilled chicken with sides, right there in this beautiful natural oasis. It’s the perfect, rejuvenating break from the action and much more than just a simple lunch stop.

I've heard about the "water fights." What are they, and do I have to participate?

The water fights are the legendary, laugh-out-loud highlight of the day! It’s a super fun and friendly battle between the jeeps in our convoy as we cross streams and drive along the route. It’s the perfect way to cool down and a huge part of the safari fun. While participating is highly encouraged for the full experience (and you will likely get splashed!), nobody will force you. But trust us, after five minutes in the warm Turkish sun, you’ll be happy to join in!

Is the tour safe and suitable for families with children?

Absolutely! This is one of the most popular day trips for families for a reason. Your safety is our number one priority. Do I get to drive the jeep myself?

For this tour, you don’t drive the jeep yourself. Our professional drivers take the wheel, and this is actually a huge advantage for you! It means you are completely free to relax, enjoy the breathtaking scenery, socialize with your friends and family, and – most importantly – fully focus on winning the water fights! You get all the fun and adventure without any of the stress of navigating challenging mountain roads.

What should I wear, and will I get very wet and dirty?

Yes, you will get wet, you might get a bit dusty, and that’s the sign of a successful safari adventure! We strongly recommend wearing your swimwear under some older, comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting splashed. For footwear, please wear sturdy sandals or shoes (no flip-flops, as they can easily fall off). It’s all part of the authentic off-road experience, and the cool water is incredibly refreshing in the summer heat!
